Venice, like San Francisco, is a place to be visited as soon as you can.
You don't know when it might just fall into the sea.
One night that we were there, San Marco's was flooded.
We went to a string concert of Vivaldi's "Four Seasons" in a church near the Rialto Bridge where we
actually saw Nicolas Cage. Sadly, no pictures.
This is us on the Rialto Bridge.
When you are in San Marco's square, this is what happens when you feed the birds.
We took our gondola ride at dusk on the night of a full moon - purely magical.
